About Julie Spencer
While I photograph a variety of subjects, portraiture is at the heart of my work. I am drawn to people, their faces, expressions, their individuality and the unique stories they carry with them. My approach is natural and intuitive, with a focus on creating images that feel genuine rather than overly posed.
Throughout my website, I often present images of people as a series. These collections allow me to explore more than a single moment, creating a deeper sense of giving the viewer an opportunity to discover the characters within the images.
